Se ha revelado el grupo de artistas que buscará triunfar en la ceremonia del próximo 22 de mayo.

Este 11 de abril se dio a conocer la lista completa de nominados a los Billboard Music Awards 2016, que se llevarán a cabo el próximo 22 de mayo, en Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ludacris y Ciara serán los encargados de conducir la ceremonia de premiación, en la que se desataca a los artistas más exitosos del último año.

Este año The Weeknd encabeza la lista de nominados con menciones en 19 categorías, incluyendo Mejor artista y Mejor álbum, por "Beauty Behind The Madness". Justin Bieber sigue muy de cerca a su compatriota canadiense con 16 nominaciones, gracias a su cuarto trabajo discográfico, "Purpose", del cual se desprenden éxitos como “Sorry”, “Love yourself” y “What do you mean”.

En las categorías latinas, Romeo Santos logró ser nominado en tres categorías, mientras que Juan Gabriel compite por Mejor artista latino y Mejor álbum latino, donde fue nominado dos veces, por sus discos "Los Dúo" y "Mis Número 1… 40 Aniversario".
